You May Not Make It in the Music Industry If…
…You may not make it if you or someone else in your camp doesn’t understand marketing. The music industry today is about who you know and how you market. Those are the reasons why you hear garbage on the radio all throughout the day, because even though the artist may not be very talented as an artist, they or someone they know is super talented in marketing.
You also may not make it if you are not a truly passionate hustler. The fact that you are a hot talented artist or label means nothing, if you don’t have the desire or ability to hustle. Everybody wants to be successful, but hardly anyone wants to put in the work that is required to make success a reality. You may be talented, but there are 10 more people who are just as talented, and there are a few people who are less talented, but they will still make it before you…
…That is because they will hustle harder to make their dream come true. They want success as an artist bad…so bad that not even thier own mediocre talent or even lack of talent will stop them.
So what are you going to do that makes you stand above the rest? What steps are you going to take starting today to make your success happen? Why should you make it instead of the other 10 artists who are competing against you? While you are sleeping, hangin’ out, or whatever, they are either in the studio working, or on the streets promoting, or promoting online and building their fanbase, or performing.
If you want to become a full-time rapper, singer, songwriter, or whatever, then you have to put in the work now, even when it seems like you are working for nothing, you have to keep going. When i was working my job, I didn’t get much rest. As soon as I got home from work, I was going to work…for my music career. Sometimes it did feel like I was just putting in effort and seeing little results, but I had to always focus on the ultimate goal, and not the inconveniences that came along the way.
When I was finally able to quit my job and go full-time into the music industry, then I thought to myself, and I still do often, “What if I had given up and just settled for working at the gig?” That is why I am passionate about making sure that you don’t quit, and that you stay persistent in reaching your goals. I know that if I was able to make music a full-time lucrative career, then you can do it to.
I will do my best to provide you with the tools, but it is ultimately up to you to use them and make things happen…

Hey Aaron,
I like what you’re doing my brother. I found your site aaronbeats.com because I just made a promotional video and I was looking for some music to put to it. Loved what I found on your site. I signed up for the free beats, but for some reason, I can’t download them. It doesn’t work. Maybe you could look into that.
But that’s not the only reason I’m writing. I’m an actor, author, motivational speaker, seminar leader and host. Yeah, all that. Quit my corporate job a few years ago to follow my dreams and I’m now doing what I want…pretty much.
Check out my site www.actingcareestartup.com. My book by the same name and the site are part of my strategy to get the recognition I want. I have created some great content that is mostly my own, but I am bringing in industry professionals with articles and interviews as well. Soon I will be putting video on my site, introducing concepts in educationally entertaining ways to showcase myself while at the same time giving youngsters the information they need to start their acting careers.
I read a post on your blog, that sounded like me talking. It’s about doing what it takes to make sure you are successful. You talked about putting in time after your job to dedicate to your music career. I talk about the same stuff and I would like to put that article on my articles page www.actingcareerstartup.com/acting_articles.html and of course attribute the article to you with links back to your site. I would like my visitors to hear the same words I speak from someone else in a different industry.
Let me know what you think. Then, if you have a place for a link back to my site somewhere on your blog or website that would be cool. But even so, I would like to put the article on my site and link it back to you.
Peace out!
Anthony

Hey Aaron,
I appreaciate your hard work boi. I just bought one of your beats and I already wrote the lyrics for it. Im a latin R&B/HIP HOP singer and songwriter. I dont know much about recording, mixing and mastering. I have pro tools at home…and at least im trying to record it…but i want to know how can i send it to you so you can make the finals on it…u know. At this moment it is the only problem that i have. If u can help me on that…i will appreaciate it…just let me know the details when it comes to cost$…and instructions to send it to you. If u can help me on this one…i will be able to by more beats from you…or work with u on exclusive beats for my songs. Keep the music alive!
Holla back,

I have been getting newsletters and articles and I love what you are doing in the industry and for those that are trying to make it in the industry. I recieved some of your free beats a while age and I wrote to and recording to one of them, let a feww people hear it and they want me to make it longer. Even though the beat was short I still did it some justice. I sent you a few songs I have done and even though the beats were not yours I still would like some feedback. I look forward to doing business with you in the future and keep up the good work.
Blessings,
