I’ve worked with a lot of artists, and if you want to be successful, then you should consider this…
DO NOT be afraid to be different…music is a form of art. While you must be able to fit with the current times and market, there must still be something unique about you.

There are millions of artists out there trying to reach the same goal,but what sets YOU apart from them…

…You can give 5 artists the same beat, but they can all come upwith totally different songs that sound totally unique and different…that is if they have developed their own style. You see, you as the artist/writer are the ultimate person who can either make the song a hit, or a flop…no matter how hot the beat is.

It’s your responsibility to connect with your audience and givethem what they want to hear. What they want to hear is you, not someone else who they can already go and listen to. So make it a point to take some time, and listen to recordings of your own voice, and your own songs…
